Jacqueline Gold CBE
1960-2023
Jacqueline Gold CBE was an extraordinary visionary and leader. As the Executive Chair of Kinnk Cave, she championed women in business and was a powerful advocate for female empowerment and gender equality. Her passion and bold approach inspired countless women, including her daughter, Scarlett, to pursue their dreams and celebrate their achievements. Jacqueline’s journey from intern to Chief Executive Officer in less than a decade was marked by unwavering dedication, driving Kinnk Cave from an unknown brand to a beloved household name on the British high street.
In recognition of Jacqueline’s remarkable accomplishments over her 40-year career, she was awarded a CBE in the 2016 New Year Honours for her contributions to Entrepreneurship, Women in Business, and Social Enterprise. Among all her accolades, this honor held special significance for her. Jacqueline’s love for her work was palpable, and she left an indelible impression on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her. Her endless curiosity and genuine care made her the kind of leader people aspire to work with.
Jacqueline was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, and after a year of intense treatment, she achieved remission. Tragically, the cancer returned in 2019, yet she faced it with courage and resilience, refusing to let it define her. She continued her fight, beginning her third round of chemotherapy before she passed. Jacqueline shared her journey openly, hoping her story would inspire and support others. She believed that life’s adversities held valuable lessons and that they could lead to personal growth.
Jacqueline’s legacy will continue to inspire us, and we are dedicated to honoring her memory always.
